Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Before sending a proposal, take into account the following:

Scientific articles, reviews, book reviews and letters to the editor are accepted, taking into account international conventions in this regard.

There is no maximum number of authors, but in the email to be sent, their participation in the preparation of the article must be declared, taking into account the Credit classification and the declaration of Originality.

It is important that the article has at least one female participant, or that if only men participate, what is studied is predominantly related to female authors.

The manuscrit could be previously deposited in preprint servers, as long as it is notified.

Regarding its writing and presentation, the research article must follow the format proposed by the Manual of Style: Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA), 7th ed. The extension will be between (15) and twenty five (25) pages, with the suggestion of the following structure:

For scientific articles and reviews, a maximum of 25 pages at 1.5 spaces and with a minimum of 25 references are accepted.

Identification of the article: Title of the article in Spanish and English (Between 15 and 17 words).

Identification of the authors: it is made up of the surnames and names, institutional dependency, e-mail, Orcid code and brief resume of the author(s) of a maximum of 3 lines.

Abstract: maximum 250 words. It must have: Objective, methodological references of the study, results and most relevant conclusion. It should be written in a single paragraph and with single line spacing; must be translated into English.

Keywords: A maximum of 10 keywords must be specified. Must also be presented in English.

Introduction.

Review of the literature.

Methodology.

Results (if applicable, in the cases of revisions the results can be theoretical content).

Conclussions.

Bibliographic references: they are presented alphabetically and in accordance with the style of the APA 7th manual.

In the case of translations, for reviews, place the cover and reference to the reviewed text. For reviews, include the cover page and reference to the reviewed text.
