The objective of this study is to examine the deontology and professional ethics of leaders of law offices in universities in Guayaquil, Ecuador, emphasizing the ethical and social commitment that characterizes the leadership in the management carried out. From a methodological perspective, the research is framed in the positivist paradigm, adopting a systemic and quantitative approach, with the purpose of offering detailed explanations about the analyzed phenomena. The study has an explanatory character, with a non-experimental, transactional and field design. The analysis units were the law offices located in universities in the province of Guayas. The results obtained after applying a survey to the selected sample indicate that deontology and professional ethics, together with moral principles, are key elements to ensure compliance with ethical standards and conduct in management, which should be reflected in codes of ethics that regulate human conduct. From the perspective of the leader's ethical commitment, it is essential to overcome ethical dilemmas through positive and comprehensive actions, ensuring that each decision taken is aligned with solid ethical principles. In addition, the well-being that the leader generates in the organization requires demonstrating leadership styles consistent with his role, promoting harmony with followers who actively participate in his management.
